Intake Session

The first session will be a process of getting to know you or your child and what you are hoping to achieve in counseling. You may share as much as you feel comfortable and I will most likely ask you questions to help the process and gather information. It is normal that you may feel a little apprehensive about your first session, especially if you have not been in therapy before. However, most clients report that they feel a great deal of relief at the end of the session.

Adult Therapy

In therapy with adults, I help you develop new perspectives and skills so that you can free yourself from habitual patterns of anxiety, depression, and self-criticism. I also aim to help you improve the quality of your relationships by developing more life affirming behaviors and provide you with a scheduled time to attend to your own needs and regain your perspective.

Child/adolescent TherapY

In therapy with children and adolescents, I focus on coping skills for emotional regulation, anxiety, behavior, impulse control, learning to become flexible with change, interpersonal skills & making/maintaining relationships with family members and friends. Child and adolescent therapy ignites my passion in the field. My methods are collaborative and integrative, and often we work together through therapeutic games and play in order to help you express your feelings, navigate thoughts, and see patterns in your behavior. More than anything, therapy with children and adolescents will always look different, but the unifying factor is feeling seen, heard, and supported.

Scheduling a consultation is the first step to starting therapy.

This is a FREE 15 minute phone conversation to discuss needs and course of therapy.

If you are inquiring about services for your child under the age of 14 this call would be for the parents or guardians.

If you are calling about yourself this would be a phone call to discuss needs and availability.

Regardless of the need, I am happy to support you in all facets if time or needs are not a fit for each other.
